9U Rookie Development Team

The Rookie Development program is for players born in 2014 and registered in 9U (Grand Slam) with our association. Interested players will have a strong baseball skill set they want to further develop and seek a level of competitiveness at a provincial level.

 

The Rookie Development team introduces live pitching and plays exhibition games against other rookie development teams in the province (mostly weekend doubleheaders, home and away). This 9U development team also plays in the 11U recreational league; this league uses a pitching machine. A high level of commitment is expected and there is a cost in addition to the association registration.

 

If your player is interested in a tryout for the 9U Rookie Development, please contact Erin O’Connor (email) by Friday, May 19. Only those who respond with interest will be contacted for the tryout process; tryouts will begin in mid/late May.
